When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:

• your email address (required)
• your first and last name (optional)

We use this information only to send you the newsletter you asked for: ideas on leadership, new TOP Talks and updates from The Other Perspective.

We process this data on the basis of your consent. You confirm your subscription through a double opt-in: after signing up, you receive an email with a link to confirm. Subscribing is voluntary, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

We use Brevo to manage subscribers, send confirmation emails and deliver the newsletter. Brevo processes your data on our behalf.

We use Brevo's setting for anonymous open and click tracking. These statistics are not linked to specific contacts.

The newsletter form uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and automated sign-ups. reCAPTCHA is security, not analytics: it is only loaded within the newsletter form on the newsletter page, and may collect information about your device and how you use the form. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply:

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Analytics is off by default: Google Analytics is only loaded, and its cookies are only placed, after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you reject, Google Analytics is not loaded.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. After withdrawal, measurement stops and the Google Analytics cookies are removed.

Before consent, no requests are sent to Google Analytics or embedded YouTube videos. This does not mean that no data is sent to Google: the newsletter form can load Google reCAPTCHA for form security independently of your Analytics and external-media choices.

Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage with the consent-settings version, the date and time, and your selected Analytics and external-media categories. No additional identifying data is collected for this record. It is not a complete central record or proof of consent, and it is not shared across devices. Some older blog posts contain YouTube videos. These are not loaded automatically. You first see a placeholder; the video only loads from YouTube after you allow external media. YouTube may then place cookies and collect data. You can also open the video directly on YouTube via the link provided. Google's privacy policy applies to YouTube.

The fonts used for our website's own layout are hosted locally and do not request Google Fonts. External embeds are separate: the newsletter form's reCAPTCHA loads a font from Google, and YouTube may load its own fonts after you allow external media.

You have the right to:

• have your data deleted
• restrict the processing of your data
• receive your data in a transferable format, where applicable
